What Has Happened Devlog#3

🧪 Devlog #3 – Expanding the Player’s World Big progress this week! I’ve implemented a full player inventory UI – complete with unlockable slots and a working item list. Players can now collect and store interactive items like candles, which can be lit using a lighter by igniting the wick. I’ve also added key items including a key, herbs, and a bottle, which can be combined into a stronger healing potion using the crafting system.
A new storage case lets players stash unused items to manage inventory space better, and bags can now be collected to expand the player’s available slots. The torch system has been upgraded too – it now includes battery depletion and a reload animation when inserting a fresh battery.
🧩 What’s Next: Implementing zombie AI
Adding more inventory items
Prototyping a basic dialogue system
Stay tuned – this survival horror world is really starting to come alive! 🧟♂️🔦🧰
