πŸ“ Devlog #6 – AI Sight Working + Objective System Progress


Hey everyone! Time for another update on What Has Happened from Robot Stu Studio.

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ AI Progress I’ve finally got the zombie AI sight detection working! The enemies can now see and react to the player as expected. However, sound and light detection are still giving me trouble β€” they’re active, but currently not triggering any reactions. I’m continuing to tweak and debug those systems.

βœ… Recent Additions β€’ Completed the Objective System – players now receive tasks that drive the story forward. β€’ Added two NPCs with working dialogue trees using the Meet and Talk system β€” each has unique lines and interactions. β€’ Updated the main menu UI with new visuals and layout β€” I’ll be sharing screenshots in this update!

🎯 Next Steps β€’ Set up a fully functional elevator system in one of the buildings. β€’ Focus on fixing AI sound and light sensitivity β€” aiming to make enemy behavior more dynamic and reactive.
